The currency you will be charged will depend on the origin airport of your trip. For example, if you are flying from Mexico City to Los Angeles and back (originating in Mexico), you will be charged in MXP. However, if you're flying from Los Angeles to Mexico City and back (originating in the United States), you'll be charged in USD.

The specific currency in which you will be charged will always be noted on the payment screen in the app before you swipe to pay. Hopper currently processes transactions in the following currencies, depending on your airport of origin:

  • United States dollars (USD)
  • Canadian dollars (CAD)
  • Euros (EUR)
  • Mexican Pesos (MXP)
  • Pound Sterling (GBP)

Please note that the display currency that you've set your app to show does not always reflect the currency you will be charged in.
