How do I request my Missed Connection Compensation?
If you miss a connecting flight and need to receive your compensation, open the Hopper app and tap on your trip. On the bottom of the trip summary screen, tap on “Other Requests,” and from there, let us know that you missed a connection and need to receive your compensation. Our team will handle the rest!
What can I use the compensation on?
You can use your compensation on anything you would like! Use it while you wait for your new connection in the airport, or use it at your destination! Treat yourself!
What if I miss more than one connection?
While we hope this doesn’t happen, please note that compensation can only be issued for one (1) missed connection per trip per traveler.
Good to know
- Please note that the fee to add Missed Connection Compensation Plan to your booking is nonrefundable, even in the case that you cancel your flight within the free cancellation window or if your flight is cancelled by the airline.
- If you do not request your compensation on the day of travel, you must request it within 7 days of the return date of your trip. If you're traveling on a one-way ticket, the 7-day period begins on the day you reach your final destination.
- All compensation is processed via PayPal. In order to process your request, you will need to provide us with the email address associated with your PayPal account.
