## How do I book a home reservation?

You can book a home reservation directly through the Hopper app. Click [here](https://help.hopper.com/en_us/download-hopper-SyysLt_YD) to download the app to your smartphone.  
  

**1\. Search for Homes by Destination**  
  

Start by entering your destination city in the "Where to stay?" search bar, and then select your dates. Be sure to enter additional information such as the number of guests including children under the age of 18, and if you are interested in pet-friendly Homes.  
  

**2\. View Your Options**  
  

Options for your selected city will come up. Tap on the option to view the details of each home including amenities, the number of beds, check-in and out instructions and times, additional deposits, etc.  
  

**3\. Review room types and Book!**  
  

If you're ready to book your desired home, tap "Book Now" and then choose the main guest on the reservation, and the payment method. You can also see a full price breakdown that will be charged, including important info and house rules, cancellation policy and terms and conditions.  
  

**4\. "Swipe to Pay" and Complete the Booking Process**  
  

Tap on "Review and Pay" for a full outline of the home booking details. Be sure to review your dates and cancellation policy before swiping to confirm the payment. Once you have reviewed all of the details and you're ready to complete the purchase, you'll need to swipe right on the "Swipe to Pay" button to authorize the purchase.

### Good to Know:

*   Each home reservation is different and may come with different cancellation policies and associated fees. Be sure to read through the house rules before swiping to pay.
*   Reservations made with our booking partners, such as [VRBO](https://www.vrbo.com/l/contact-us/) (Vacation Rentals by Owner) can be fully booked through the Hopper app; however, for any requests after the booking has been made, please contact VRBO directly, and their team would be happy to assist with you.
*   Homes can presently only be booked through the Hopper app and not on Hopper.com.
